Engage- Explore-Express Today -:Tomorrow is often the busiest day !!!!

“Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.” – Abraham Lincoln

We all are procrastinators at some point and when it comes to discuss about a student's life, then procrastination is kind of lifeline to them. We put off our work on tomorrow as if tomorrow is promised.Delaying things or not doing things on the time when they needed to be done, has been a trend since ever. But, Does it really work ?

Sometimes Yes, but not each time procrastination is going to help out from the load. Many times we remain in an illusion that procrastination is the process to escape from something but what actual procrastination is, the process of escaping but delaying the things for some time period.

By Kritika Budhiraja

"You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again." -Benjamin Franklin

What is PROCRASTINATION ?

Procrastination is the process in which we delay and put off our work, things and schedule on tomorrow or escape from the things for a particular tenure. Reasons of choosing the path of procrastination may vary from person to person. But many times reasons are merely excuses.Excuses for not doing the work on proper time. Students are the best procrastinators. They delay their things specially things called HOMEWORK,ASSIGNMENTS and LEARNING.

This process is actually a drug to which, once addicted then cannot be free but the dose gets high over the time. We try to escape ourselves from the situations because sometimes we don't feel like facing the things or we doubt ourselves to be capable of facing them. Putting off the things is merely be seen during the times when we don't prepare ourselves, when we think that we are too way weak to do that.

But again, these are merely excuses. And amidst youth, there can be so many reasons observed like stress, unwanted distractions in life like social media or mobile phones and many more countless reasons. These are the hurdles one should overcome from because we think we may have plenty of time to complete our work but it is not as expected.Because everything has a particular time of its existence and if we postpone our work then there wouldn't be that taste of work. Weird but true.

How to avoid PROCRASTINATION ?

-Do things on the time they are supposed to be done because, there is a specific time of things to come into existence.
-Prepare yourself and concentrate on the things that worth your attention.
-Accept that procrastination is one of the major obstacles you need to overcome from, as this will hinder your growth as well as success.
-Trust yourself and have faith that you don't have to escape from the things instead FACE.

There are many more solutions to this, face this hurdle. Solutions depend on the reasons and obviously reasons may vary from person to person and from situations to situations. But, know that Procrastination is an obstacle which will distract your way from the success you can achieve.
